The Chemical Protective Overgarment (CPO) is a two-piece ensemble, consisting of a coat with an integral hood and trousers. The ensemble utilizes a 50/50 nylon/cotton poplin ripstop outer shell and has passed testing and evaluation to all NATO standards using our Lifetex CD 2560-4 liner material. The garments are available in seven sizes. US woodland camouflage is standard. Other camouflage patterns or colors are available as special order.
Lifetex style CD 2560-4 is a lightweight, low-bulk, and launderable adsorptive textile system designed for maximum chemical protection and reduced heat stress. Users are protected against all known battlefield chemical agents in our most comfortable technology yet.
Flame resistance is available by special order. Overall, wearers are offered protection against chemical and biological agents in a system that is lightweight, launderable and permeable to provide the lowest possible level of heat stress for a system of its type.
